Barlow Singers has been meeting in Barlow Village for about twenty years.

We now meet at St Lawrence Church (next to the Peacock pub) in Barlow on Tuesday evening, 7.30-9.30. We are essentially a mixed community choir, singing for pleasure.

We enjoy performing at various events, both locally and further afield: from weddings concerts in the church to tea parties at the village hall. From to carol singing on the village green to singing carols at Haddon Hall. One of the highlights over the last twenty years was when we were invited to sing for a wedding at York Minster.

Most of our concerts and performances are to raise money for charity. Our most recent concert – and the first for over two years! – was a great success. We joined forces with Bernie Clifton and managed to raise £4900 for the Ukraine charity.

We are very much looking forward to taking part in the Dronfield Arts Festival!
