Lantern making Workshop
13th April 2019 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Last year the lantern parade was a huge success, lighting the streets of Dronfield with the fairy light lit lanterns made for a magical sight.
This year as well as the parade the lanterns will form part of the Ocean World Interactive Light Show taking place in the Peel Centre over the festival weekend. For more information on this, please visit here
Once again we would love you to come along to our workshops in the run up to the festival weekend and make your own lantern to bring with you on the evening.
Lanterns will be themed on underwater creatures and there are templates for all ages and expertise!
Costs are £2 per person.
All materials and protective aprons are supplied. However please bear in mind there will be PVA glue involved!
NB: Some of the larger willow made lanterns will require more than one workshop session to complete.
The parade will finish at the Barn where there will be food, drink and and a fire show to finish the evening! For more information on the parade, please click here .
For those of you who wish to carry on later in to the night, the fabulous Rachel Raynor will be singing live at the Green Dragon.
