Thank you to all of you who submitted entries for our Lockdown Photography Competition – we loved seeing all your photos, and judging was made difficult by both the size and quality of the entries we received.

But the two winning entries are as follows. In first place is ‘Beauty and the Edge’ by Bernadette Hall.

This wonderful image captures the landscape of Derbyshire with the heather and rocky outcrops beautifully and the colours in the Highland cattle complement the Derbyshire backdrop perfectly. Bernadette receives a £100 PhotoPrint Shop voucher.

The runner up is Michael Hardy and his photo ‘Horse in Hill’s Farm Field at Frosty Dawn’

We chose this as it captures the morning sunrise warming up the landscape incredibly well. The light casts a warming glow over the picture to give a sense of transition from night to day. Michael receives a£50 Photo Print Shop voucher

Once again, thank you to all the entrants for supporting this competition. You can see a small selection of some of the other images we received below.
