About The Artist

I have been an Architectural Technologist and Interior Designer for many years and have always had a love of art, animals, British country side and nature.

I live in Sheffield and feel very privileged to be so close to the beautiful Peak District and Derbyshire Dales where I spend a great deal of time walking with my two dogs.

I have always drawn from a very young age and through my work drawing on computers I devised a way to create completely hand drawn digital pieces of artwork.

In April 2018 I decided to open my own small business called Digital Pet Art and I began to draw custom pet portraits of which I have drawn many wonderful pets past and present .

From there I decided to include greeting art cards of which I now have over a hundred different designs including many different animals and scenes of Sheffield and the surrounding Peak District.

I was delighted to have my cards accepted by the Peak District National Park for their visitor Centres and this gave me the encouragement to carry on, I now supply to outlets across Sheffield and Derbyshire as well as my own online sales.

In August 2018 my sister and I created Little Urban Fox and Friends, and in February 2019 we had our first Children’s book published.

I created all the illustrations and my sister wrote the story of The Little Urban Fox Explores, Endcliffe Park.

We have since finished our first series which includes three Little Fox books and we are currently working on Series 2.

They are all aimed at encouraging children and their families to go out and explore the wonderful places we so are lucky to have on our doorsteps.

I try and attend as many shows and fairs as I can with my artwork and books, sadly none of that has been able to happen this year due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.

I am therefore very happy to be able to show my work online for the Dronfield Arts Festival.’
